I am heartbroken by the passing of Dolores Huerta, a woman I deeply admired and whose courage paved the way for generations of Latinas like me. As a Latina and immigrant, I know that I stand on the shoulders of women like Dolores, who refused to be silenced and made sure our voices were heard.
